Hiker with Red Coat

It was a sunny September morning on the Signal Hill Trail, which winds its way around the entrance to St. John's Harbour. I met a lady visting from Ontario; she was taking in this hike on the last day of her visit. It was a warm morning; her red coat was under her arm. She loved the views and noted that this trail is not one for the faint of heart. We continued in our opposite directions. I looked back toward the city for a picture, and thought that a small dot of red would look good againt the hillside. I yelled out to her, asking her to put on her coat. She obliged, and I snapped the shutter.
